The standard SMC credit terms are payment 30 days from the end of the month in which the goods are dispatched or collected. The main methods of payment are by cheque or BACS transfer.

We like to think that our customers value our prompt attention to their orders, and short lead times, as we value customers who pay within the deadline set by the above terms.

SMC Wholesale welcomes any applications for commercial credit from customers who have been trading for at least two years, and can provide two good trade references. Application forms are available by ringing 01392 217635.

We also welcome proforma sales. Payment is accepted by credit / debit card, cheque, or BACS transfer. Goods will only be dispatched when payment has been received.

Collection

Most of our business is with customers who are out of our immediate area, and we use the most appropriate and economical carriers for the size and destination of the particular dispatch. However, we welcome local customers visiting our warehouse to pick up goods directly. We do ask that you ring and check that the goods are in stock before you make your journey.

Carriage

Standard carriage charges for mainland UK at this time are: £12.50 for a standard two to three day service, flat charge up to £250.00 order value before VAT. Orders over £250.00 value are carriage free on standard service.

£16.50 for a next day service. We always charge for next day carriage. Customers are reminded that next day is anytime up to five o’clock in the afternoon, and if you need to use the goods on the day of delivery you should consider a higher level of service.
